Subject: My HotRod Joystick is here!!!

I've been bugging a lot of people about their joysticks for weeks, and finally decided to spend the bucks and buy a hotrod... it came today! (Only a 6day turnaround from the time I ordered it... not too shabby considering I paid for regular shipping) Just gotta put my two cents worth in on this joystick... It ROCKS! Robotron, Krull, Crazy climber work like a dream. (I havn't had any trouble with diagonals like some people have noted) I'm still working on a comfortable layout for Defender, keep switching my fire and thrust buttons back and forth, but it works great. Had a ball playing Rampage with my wife, where she extracted revenge for our previous game of StreetFighter II. 4 way games seem pretty good... she had some problems with frogger being a bit TOO responsive, but Galaga, Mr.Do and Super Qix work fine. I'm just impressed as hell with this joystick. At $219 (including tax) I was REALLY glad it wasn't a piece of crap. But I figgured hell, mame lets me play all these great games free, so why not spend a bit on a good controller? Anyhow, enough said. If you have the money, buy one. Just need a spinner now and I'm set!
